The delegation of the Public Enterprise Highways of Republika Srpska visited China, and the visit was very useful and successful, said the acting director of the enterprise, Nedeljko Ćorić.
Ćorić, appearing on the RTRS morning program, mentioned being impressed by Shanghai, China, and added that the fair attended by the Srpska delegation was very impressive.
“Shanghai is a major trade center, and the fair in that city helped us assess our position as a company compared to developed countries, identify progress, determine what needs to be changed, and get acquainted with Chinese contractors,” stated Ćorić.
He emphasized that the visit was beneficial for both Highways and Republika Srpska, noting that foreign investors believe Srpska has sufficient potential to enter the global market.
“Our delegation was divided by areas, and meetings were organized accordingly. We had the opportunity to see what our contractors are doing in China, engaging in discussions with three companies. We are moving towards completing the projects we started, and we have acquainted ourselves with companies interested in cooperation,” Ćorić conveyed.
Regarding highways in Srpska, Ćorić mentioned ongoing work at various locations.
“Work is underway at various locations. The most significant is the Bijeljina – Rača road,” stated Ćorić.
Recall that the International Import and Export Fair took place in Shanghai from November 5 to 10.
