Minister of Transport and Communications of Republika Srpska, Nedeljko Čubrilović, along with colleagues, held discussions today in Banja Luka with a delegation from the Chinese company “SDHS-CSI BH” regarding the progress of activities on the construction of the Banja Luka-Prijedor highway.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the Ministry, in collaboration with Chinese partners, is consistently carrying out necessary procedures and activities to ensure the timely completion of the highway construction project.
The participants noted that, following the expropriation process, the required construction permits for a 15-kilometer section of the Banja Luka-Prijedor highway have been obtained.
The meeting also addressed the presentation of the general project, including the selection of the route and technical documentation for the Prijedor-Novi Grad highway section, which serves as the second phase of the Banja Luka-Prijedor highway.
Minister Čubrilović and the delegation from the Chinese company reiterated the importance of constructing the Banja Luka-Prijedor highway in accordance with prescribed conditions and legal procedures. They emphasized the commitment of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Chinese company “SDHS-CSI BH” to efficiently resolve all issues and procedures related to the realization of this project in accordance with legal regulations and the concession agreement, as reported by RTRS.
