On 15.12.2023, representatives of 11 companies from the Republika Srpska, staying in Vienna as part of the “Fit for Austria” program, had the opportunity to establish contacts with Austrian entrepreneurs and explore possibilities for collaboration during meetings organized by the Vienna Economic Chamber, announced Mladen Filipović, the head of the Representation of the Republika Srpska in Austria.
In a written statement, Filipović mentioned that the representatives from the Republika Srpska attended the annual year-end gathering in Vienna organized by the Austrian-Serbian Economic Forum, bringing together entrepreneurs from the Serbian diaspora and representatives from the Austrian business community.
Filipović stated that this event provided an opportunity to exchange views on plans for the upcoming year. On this occasion, a promotion of wineries from the Republika Srpska and Serbia, including “Vukoje,” “Tvrdoš,” and “Јungić,” was organized.
Before the promotion, the Representation arranged a masterclass training for the representatives of Serbian wineries to familiarize them with the specificities of the Austrian market and possibilities for entering the gastronomic offer. The masterclass was conducted by Darel Joseph, an expert in the wine market of Central and Southeastern Europe.
