The Minister of Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska, Petar Đokić, stated that it is of great importance for Republika Srpska to have the opportunity to attend the 6th International Forum “Russian Energy Week” in Moscow and to hear discussions on the most important energy issues in the world.
– Energy stimulates the development of all sectors of the economy and, in this way, promotes the development of societies worldwide, which is why it is very important to be where these discussions are taking place – Đokić added.
He mentioned that this event in Moscow features numerous panels where discussions are held at the highest level of expertise, with scientific knowledge, achievements, and experiences from participating states and their representatives. He also noted that the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković, is addressing one of the panels.
Đokić pointed out that there are almost no European delegations at the forum, but there is a significant presence of delegations from other parts of the world. The topics discussed hold universal value for the energy world and global development.
According to his words, through the speeches of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Prime Minister of Iraq, one could sense the development of stronger partnerships between Russia and the states of the Asian and African continents than before.
He mentioned that the Russian Federation is now turning to other markets, as Europe has imposed strict sanctions on it. While its production volume is lower than when it was dealing with Europe, Russia is not suffering significant losses, and it will make up for them in the end.
Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers, Staša Košarac, also attended the plenary session of the International Forum “Russian Energy Week,” chaired by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
