“Agrosim 2023” – the aim of the symposium is the introduction of IT technologies in agriculture

06.10.2023

The goal of science is to address the global food shortage problem by introducing IT technologies in agriculture and innovations in organic production, as stated at the 14th International Agricultural Symposium “Agrosim 2023″ on Jahorina, with 680 scientific papers and participants from 80 countries.

Global market, economic, and political crises, along with climate change and natural disasters, have led to a food shortage worldwide. While we do import what is available in our market, experts claim that we do not have enough agricultural products.

– Together, we are striving to solve the problem of the general population, the food shortage, and rising prices,” says Vesna Milić, the dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of East Sarajevo.

Saša Lalić, Assistant Minister for Agriculture, Food Industry, and Rural Development in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republika Srpska, believes that “Agrosim 2023″ is an event that can answer many questions, such as helping producers learn about innovations, which will be implemented in coordination with the relevant institutions.
