The delegation from Namibia visited the Bijeljina company “Elvako MetPro”, where they discussed with the management of this company the possibility of purchasing technology and training workers in connection with the production of modular containers.
The General Director of the company “Elvako MetPro” Dragan Ljubinković explained that these are containers that can be used for housing and that they have additional elements, such as electricity generators, solar power plants and drinking water purifiers.
“Elvako MetPro” has been producing modular containers for eight years, and our customers are from Germany and other EU countries, while we currently cooperate with England as well.
Their area is from 13 to 15 square meters, but it is possible to combine and fit them, and build entire settlements – Ljubinković pointed out.
He emphasized that “Elvako MetPro” will soon send a letter of intent to the interested party in Namibia, which will be followed by the departure of a team of experts from Bijeljina to Africa.
– Transporting containers to Namibia would be very expensive, so it is much more certain that we will sell them our projects, technology and train their people to work – added Ljubinković.
Let us remind you that “Elvako MetPro” from Bijeljina recently signed a multi-year contract with the state company from Italy “Terna”, worth about nine million KM, under which they will produce metal reels for cables.
The company “Elvako MetPro” currently employs slightly more than 100 workers, and the new contracts will also mean new jobs for the residents of Semberija, reports Businessinfo.
